Strawberry Mojitos at the ready…

The festive season is just around the corner and here at Gemelle, we’re busy preparing for the hoards of diners ready to feast on all the traditional goodness we have to offer this year.

Now we all know Christmas is about sharing so we’ve decided to share a special cocktail recipe just in time for summer.Whether you’re hosting a weekend barbeque with friends or a Christmas dinner with family – our Strawberry Mojito recipe is the perfect addition to any festive feast. Saluti! 

Strawberry Mojito | Serves 8. 

2 Large Limes | 500g Strawberries | ½ Bunch Mint Leaves | 250ml White Rum | 250g White Sugar | Soda Water | Crushed Ice | Fresh Strawberries | Mint

1. Squeeze lime juice into a jug

2. Add rum, sugar and stir until sugar dissolves

3. Crush strawberries and mint leaves into jug

4. Stir until mixed well

5. In a tall glass, pour the cocktail mix to halfway and top with crushed ice.

6. Add soda water until glass is full

7. Add strawberries and mint leaves for garnish_MG_1807-X2 (1)
